DAQI ARCHITECTS was invited to participate in Architecture Forum "Hello China -- 2020 RIBA100" Beijing station
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is the oldest architectural institution in the world, with a history of 186 years and a royal title. In early 2020, RIBAestablished its sixth international branch in China, aiming to promote architectural exchanges between China and the world. According to thepaper.cn reports, RIBA launched in 2020 for a period of 12 months "Hello China" project, and "2020 RIBA one hundred outstanding architect project in China" was the first activity after RIBA branch of China was founded. The project aims to promote understanding of China and the Asia-pacific region, to collect outstanding architects and build a broader community, sharing the architects' point of view and practice experience. RIBA will also spread and recommend Chinese architects and architectural creations around the world, develop their creativity and experience through an international cultural exchange platform, and showcase the talents and design of excellent Chinese architecture. On the eve of National Day this year, RIBA held the "2020 100 outstanding architects forum Beijing Station" in Beijing Agricultural Exhibition Hall, 4X4 Event Beijing Station. Cao Xiaoxin, the architect in charge of DAQI ARCHITECTS which belong to China Architectural Design and Research Group, was invited to participate in the forum. With the theme of "Social context and cultural heritage of Contemporary Architecture in China", the forum launched a comprehensive exchange and discussion.
