Project Description:

The footbridge design was inspired by the cantilever shape of the Milky Way Nebula.The bridge consists of three modules connected end to end, each connected by a structural seam.The bridge deck adopts the same paving method as the road surface in the park, with fine colored concrete surface.The three bridge units are reorganized in random ways, forming a unique end space, using this space, clever vehicle interleaving.

Crossing the river represents the intention of the Milky Way bridge.The name "Changhua Xiaoxing" is derived from li Shangyin's poem "The mica screen candle shadow is deep, the long river gradually falls xiaoxing to sink". The whole structure is the cast-in-place prestressed variable section concrete box girder, the section is the box type, in order to reduce the weight of the bridge.The two sides of the railings are composed of GRC panels and glass and metal railings.The shuttle-shaped volume is composed of the bridge body and the railings. The shuttle-shaped opening is made in the center of the facade, and the curved resting platform is extended.The panels are perforated in different sizes to create a poetic scene of starlight at night.
