On the morning of October 11, 2021, CAI Qi, Secretary of Beijing Municipal Party Committee, made a field survey of Tiantongyuan Culture and Art Center in Changping District. The project is an architectural renovation project designed and completed by China Architectural Design and Research Institute · Daqi Architectural Design Studio and designed by Jianyan Technology Co., LTD. The project is located in Beijing Huilongguan and Tiantongyuan area (" Huitian Area "), is an old abandoned shopping mall renovation project, as the key construction project of "Huitian three-year Action plan" has been attracting attention.

"On the morning of October 11, CAI Qi, secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, went to Changping Tiantongyuan Culture and art Center for research. The culture and art Center is the first station of the municipal Party Committee to carry out the three-area research. Zhang Yankun, deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the research. Tiantongyuan Culture and Art Center in Changping District has become a popular urban public cultural complex. Tiantongyuan Culture and Art Center will begin trial operation on May 1, 2021, with a total construction area of about 35,000 square meters, including a large library, a physical bookstore, a medium-sized theater, a rehearsal hall, and an incubation space for cultural communities and associations. It is a quality cultural life space for Huitian residents integrating culture, art, leisure, entertainment and making friends. 

    Project location to build a new business CARDS, changping town tour through the specialized operation and provides the high quality for the suburb area cultural content and cultural services, radiating and driving the surrounding area as "central kitchen" of public cultural undertakings development, explore the new path of urban public cultural undertakings development, build a new benchmark capital for the construction of public cultural center. Mayor CAI Qi pointed out in the survey that we should adhere to public welfare, marketization and sustainability, give full play to the role of social organizations, and build a cultural front to serve the public. We will continue to work harder to return to the motherland, focus on the new five-year action plan, implement key projects on a rolling basis, and make every effort to improve areas of weakness in living standards."
